GM OPEN SWISS NORM
1. Tournament and Date
3rd Quang Ninh GM Open Swiss norm: 24th June – 30th June 2026.
24th June (Opening and Round 1) and 30th June Closing.

Quang Ninh Exhibition of Urban Planning & Expo, Ha Long Ward, Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province, Viet Nam.

4. System
There are two groups:
- GM open 10 Rounds (Swiss norm) for Players 2150 above
- FM 7–9 Rounds for player 2150 below
There are 8 to 10 GMs playing in GM open tournament.
5. Time Control
- GM open: 90 minutes + 30 seconds increment per move starting from the 1st move.
- FM open: 60 minutes + 30 seconds increment per move starting from the 1st move.

Man: 1st 1000 USD; 2nd 700 USD; 3rd 500 USD; 4–6th: 300 USD; 7–10th: 200 USD.
1st Women: 200 USD; 2nd Women: 100 USD; 3rd Women: 50 USD.
FM open: Total 2000 USD
Man: 1st 500 USD; 2nd 300 USD; 3–4th 200 USD; 5–6th 100 USD; 7–10th 50 USD.
1st Women: Gold medal & 150 USD; 2nd 100 USD; 3rd 50 USD.
Rank the groups from 1st to 3rd: U6; U8; U10; U12; U14: Gold, Silver, Bronze medal.
10. Transfer
Estimated price for bus from Noi Bai Airport to tournament venue: 500.000 VND.
There are some direct buses from Quang Ninh to Noi Bai Airport and vice versa.

A variety of hotels are available nearby, with rates ranging from 350,000 to 400,000 VND per night, all just a 5 to 10-minute walk from the playing hall.
